I Had Never Been to a Karaoke Session
I had never been to a karaoke session because it wasn’t something I saw myself doing or enjoying. Karaoke? Nah, I’ll pass. But, when Brukwine announced its first girls’ night out was going to be at a karaoke bar, I said ok, why not?
I’ll just go and hang out with the talented, successful and fun ladies I dance with every week. I'll have a blast doing that.

Singing My Heart Out
Well somehow, and I’m still not quite sure how it happened, I ended up with a microphone in my hand, singing my heart out.
Every Song I Knew
Every song I knew and liked, I joined in. I sang with the mic, without the mic, standing up, sitting down, swaying … I had a fantastic time!
Our Energy Was Sky High
Our energy was sky high because we went out right after our fitness party so everyone was singing, shimmying and even dancing (but, of course, right?). And three hours just flew by! Am I sold on karaoke overall? Not sure. Am I sold on karaoke with the Brukwine ladies? Most definitely! Looking forward to our next girls’ night out!
